The Greater Himalayan Buddhist Welfare Society formed and registered in 2005 under which Indo Swiss Buddhist School a charitable School has been running for last 20 Years. The purpose of this charitable school is to provide quality education with required facilities such as boarding, Medical, books, Uniforms and stationaries etc. without any fee. Currently It provides completely free education from nursery to 10th Class at almost 95 students belonging to poor background, orphans, single parent from the Himalayan regions. We are serving not only students belongs to interior regions of Lahoul and Spiti, Chamba, Kullu, Manali, UT Ladakh, Zanskar and Bihar, but also the students belong to different religions.
It has been 20 Years, but due to lack of fund we could not construct a proper kitchen and a dining hall for our students residing in the school. Currently we only have a temporary kitchen with limited facilities. The number of students in our school is gradually increasing every year, therefore the construction of a proper kitchen and a specious dining hall has become very necessary to ensure that all students receive hygiene, nutritious meals in a safe environment.
2. Objectives: - The Purpose is to construct a two storey building with basement in Block – I. The school Hostel currently lacks a proper kitchen and dining hall. Food for students is prepared in a temporary kitchen.

4. Budget: - The estimated cost for construction of the kitchen, dining hall with basement will be= Rs 99,81000.00
The estimated cost for construction of Boys Hostel will be = Rs 60,72,000
5. Project Management: - The project will be managed by school construction committee under the supervision of the School Chairman. The committee will be responsible for the planning, monitoring and successful completion of the project. The management team will be regularly reviewing the progress and maintain records of expenses, materials and work completed regular updates and reports will be shared with the supporting organization regarding the progression of the project.
6. Project planning: - The construction work will begin after the approval of funds and continue throughout the year expect during the rainy season when heavy rainfall may affect the progress of the work. The construction work will be completed within two years.
7. Conclusion: - The construction of kitchen, dining hall and boys' hostel is essential for the welfare of our students. We request to kind donors and supporters to help us in completing this important project. Your generous support will greatly improve the living condition of our students. Our school is currently facing a significant challenge due to the lack of proper infrastructure, especially a dedicated boys’ hostel and adequate office facilities.
Additionally, the school administration is operating without sufficient office space, which affects the smooth management of academic and administrative activities. This limitation makes it difficult to provide efficient services to students, parents, and staff.
